A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending an exclusive wedding showcase at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane titled “Once upon a fairytale” where a luxury florist Philippa Craddock presented new floral trends for the 2016 wedding season.
The idea behind the show was to create a variety of magical, enchanting and opulent settings guaranteed to impress everyone. Which set the bar quite high, but it was not a problem for a creative florist like Philippa.
The show had not one, but 4 different designs, each unique and breathtaking.
On arrival, I was blown away by the floral arch that was designed to highlight the wedding dress and welcome guests into the show. Which for most florists be as far as they would go to for a wedding show, but here it was just a beginning.
In the ballroom two fantastic designs were to be found one in blush pinks and creams, featuring avalanche roses and peonies and another one in white accompanied by candles, plus a luxury table set up in the Oak Room (30ft long).
The focal point of the Ballroom was a white table designed by Scarlet in partnership with Philippa Craddock. The table was topped with a dramatic centerpiece in the form of a tree blooming with roses and peonies. I am usually not a huge fan of the silk flowers but here they were captivating.
Another floral creation was made entirely out of cut flowers.
And now to the main treat a luxury table set up in the Oak Room.
