Nikki Tibbles is probably the most celebrated florist in London, though it is a really tough competition and I don’t want to pick winners. For people who do not know her, she is the creator of Wild at Heart a brand behind the Liberty Flower Stand and two more lovely shops, though those beauties are off the tourist roads. It is hard to count how many times she was mentioned in magazines ranging from fashion to gardening and let’s do not forget about blogs. I feel like I knew this flower brand well before I moved to London. She is also quite well known for being a winner of Chelsea in Bloom for several years – that’s quite an achievement. Today I will share with you my footage of an event organised by Nikki as a part of celebration Chelsea in Bloom as it simply cannot be missed out.
This lovely event was held at the Pimlico store on the 21st of May and was all about English gardens and wildflowers. A flower arch was the main centerpiece of the shop’s decoration and provided a stunning passageway into the store. Pillars of the arch were decorated with common garden plants such as pink foxgloves, aubergine colored lupins, miniature roses and hydrangea in all possible varieties of blue. In my opinion the best thing about this arch is that it was made to last as a water source was provided to the flowers.
During the course of the event, we were offered to make our own jam jar arrangements with the help of florists. Everyone created something unique with a twist. Just look at these:
