It is starting to get dark earlier and so getting the perfect light will be harder, but there is a solution that does not involve flying to a sunny country. As always Photoshop is here to help! it does not matter which version you have since they all support temperature adjustment. So let’s see how to temperature correct in Photoshop in seconds.
You can fix the Temperature/White Balance of any image. (Your image can be in any format that Photoshop supports. It can be RAW, JPG, TIF etc…)
I use Photoshop for most of my photo editing, it’s considered the industry standard for a reason. I try to set my White Balance as I shoot, but even with a daylight bulb getting the color right can be tricky, so from time to time I have to do this.
HOW – TO
- On Mac
Go to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > COLOR BALANCE . The window for color balance can also be open with a shortcut Command(cmd) + B.
A box with three sliders will pop up. To change color temperature simply drag the Yellow/Blue slider one way and the Cyan/Red slider an equal amount the other way. Keep moving sliders until the picture looks good.
- On PC
Use shortcut Ctrl + B. Then play with Yellow/Blue and Cyan/Red sliders until your image looks just right.
Removing blue tint
If you need to remove blue tint then type -10 if still not right keep decreasing numbers in Yellow/Blue slider until the image looks just right! EASY!
